Weekly Bulletin - Issue 12 - Friday 26 November 2021

Issue 12 - Thursday 26 November 2021

Dear Families

We're in!  Thank you so much for your tolerance and understanding throughout this build period.  I hope your children have been telling you about the new building.  They have certainly given me huge amounts of positive feedback, and it will be one of my lasting memories, seeing their faces as they came into and looked around the new school on our first day in.

Please look out for a Zoom invitation for your own virtual tour of the school.

The next phases of the build are:

  • demolition of the old school
  • refurbishment of the library, DT, Art and Science rooms
  • building of the sports hall and changing rooms
  • completion of all outdoor works

This will take place approximately over the next 10 months.

Website

We're starting an overhaul of our website to make it more easily accessible for everyone.  It will be available throughout the time we are working on it, but you may notice things move around or in some cases disappear altogether! The website will continue to be a major source of information and point of communication, so please take a look if you haven't already. There is a translate function at the top of the page, so you can choose your preferred language.

May I wish you all a peaceful weekend and first Sunday of Advent.

Very best wishes,

Mrs J Rigby
Headteacher

Memorial for Nathan Hill

You may remember one of our pupils, Nathan Hill, who sadly passed away unexpectedly a couple of years ago.

Nathan's foster family have been in contact to invite all students and staff, past and present, to a memorial to celebrate Nathan's life.   It is on Sunday 5th December at 2pm at St. Mary's Church, Harmondsworth UB70AQ, followed by drinks at the 5 Bells Pub afterwards next door to the church.

The family have requested no black to be worn as this is a celebration of life.
