Issue 15 - Friday 6 January 2023

Dear Families

May I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

It was lovely to welcome pupils back to school this week and to see them enthusiastically (in most cases!) launch themselves into their learning.

We did have to share some very sad news with the school this week. One of our colleagues sadly passed away over the Christmas period.  Miss Kenney had worked at Meadow High School since 2013 as a teaching assistant and during that time had supported pupils across many years groups and Pathways within the school. We are obviously deeply saddened by her passing and our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time. Should you wish to send a condolence card to her family we are very happy to pass this on for you.

Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given.  May their memories become joyful, their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your love.

Kind regards

Mrs J Rigby
Headteacher
