Dear Families
Welcome back to the second half of the Autumn Term!
Over the half term we cleared out a HUGE amount of water bottles and packed lunch boxes that have accumulated over the last 8 weeks. If any are labelled we will be returning them to their owner. Sadly, most are not labelled so we will be posting pictures of these (in this bulletin) so you can claim them on behalf of your child. Any items that are unclaimed by the end of November will be washed and donated to a local charity shop.

 Car Park Reminder
To ensure the safety of all our pupils and staff, may I remind families that they are not permitted to drive onto site between 8.30am and 9.00am and 2.30pm and 3.25pm each day. There are two families who have a medical exemption for this. May I also remind you that the speed limit on site is very low, only 5 miles per hour.

 Assembly
This week we looked at a virtue of gentleness. We explored what being gentle to others looks like as well as gentleness to ourselves. Pupils took a moment to think of someone they care deeply about and how they would like them to be treated. The main takeaway was: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
 |
  |
The top tips for being gentle to ourselves were:
	- Eat well and regularly

	- Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day

	- Have a good pre-bedtime routine and make sure you are getting enough hours of sleep

	- Introduce some exercise, sport, movement into the daily routine

	- Find activities which are good for your well-being including music, reading, crafts, arts and communicating directly with others.

	- Limit the amount of screen time each day

Very best wishes for a good weekend.
