Issue 11 - Friday 22 November 2024

Dear Families

We are proud and delighted to share this story with you.

One of our ex-pupils Tillie, who left Meadow in 2020 has taken part in her first international gymnastics competition!

Tillie trains with the Falcon Spartak Gym Club and, along with two of her training partners, she represented England at the International Friendship Competition organised by the Norway Special Olympics.  On the first and second of November Tillie and the England Team competed in Lorensgog against 379 gymnasts from countries including: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Norway and the USA.

All the team competed extremely well and arrived home with four Gold medals, two Silver medals and two Bronze medals.

After the competition all the competitors, coaches and families attended a banquet where they socialised and made new friends from across the world.
