MEDICAL AND OTHER APPOINTMENTS

If your child has a medical or dental appointment during the school day, please ensure you inform the class teacher, via the link book, in advance.   Please ensure you inform the Transport Department of any changes to transport.  We also need a copy of the appointment letter or card to keep on your child's attendance record.

Please do not ask your child's Transport Escort to pass on messages regarding absence, illness or appointments.  This information should be relayed by phone call from a parent, followed by a letter or note in the link book directly to the school.

HOLIDAY OR LEAVE DURING TERM TIME

We do not authorise holiday during term time.    If your child requires leave due to exceptional circumstances please put your request in writing to the Head Teacher, Mrs Rigby.  If leave is not authorised you are at risk of receiving a fixed penalty notice.  See Exceptional Leave for further information.
