Pathway 1 - Centre Parcs Residential Trip

On Monday 22 May, twenty eager and excited Pathway 1 students headed to Woburn Forest Center Parcs in Bedfordshire for a 5 day / 4 night residential trip.

The trip consisted of life skills, social skills and lots of fun and adventure and was a great opportunity for our learners to put into practice all the skills we have been building in school.  From forest walks, owl and falcon flying, pottery painting, zip lining, rock wall climbing, swimming to fencing everybody was able to try something new, and we all returned safe, happy and a little tired. For some of our young people this is the first or second time ever they have been away from home. We look forward to building and developing our young people's skills and developing the challenge in subsequent years. The group of students behaved impeccably and were a credit to Meadow High School, we look forward to planning another experience soon.
