Messages for our Leavers

Dear Leavers
Change is exciting (even if it gives you butterflies in your tummy!). As you get ready to move on from Meadow I wanted to share these wise words with you:
'The secret of change is to focus all your energy
not on fighting to keep the old,
but on building the new'
- Socrates
So true! We have loved seeing you grow, change, learn and develop and whilst we will miss you, we are so happy that you are ready to move on from Meadow.
As you know, I love music and I think so many messages are better through song. Don't worry, I'm not going to sing to you! But if I did, it would be this:
These are the times we shall dream about
and we’ll call them the ‘good old days’.
When the years have rolled away we’ll dream of the times we had
and songs we used to sing.
So while we’re together let us laugh at the weather
and whatever the gods may bring.
When all our youth is but memory
and the years bring parting of the ways.
Then believe me fellows,
these are the times we shall dream about
and we’ll call them the ‘good old days’!
Thank you for letting all of us at Meadow be part of your journey.
Don't forget us, we will never forget you!
Mrs Rigby
And here are a few more messages from us to you:
I can’t believe that it’s that time of year again when we all say good bye to our lovely young Year 14 and watch you move on to your next step.
Over the years you have been here I have seen each and everyone of you so I would like to wish you all the very best for your future and every success in whatever you do
I will miss you all.

I am so sorry that I cannot be there today to celebrate all your achievements whilst with us at Meadow High School.
Good luck in your new college and with all you do in the future.
Take all the support that is offered you, to become the best person you can.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on. Maybe arrange to come and visit us.
Miss you already.
