End of Year Letter from Mrs Rigby
Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils
Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank all of you for your incredible support, hard work and enthusiasm during this academic year! I often talk about 'teams' and 'teamwork' with Meadow Staff and I am immensely privileged to be part of your 'team'!
We have had a large number of visitors to the school throughout the year including SEN and Mainstream Headteachers, Local Authority Officials, Health professionals, Social Care professionals and Architects, Designers and other professionals associated with planning our new school. Without fail, they have commented and praised how polite and helpful the pupils are, the general 'friendliness' and calm atmosphere about the school and the interesting work they have seen being undertaken about the site. The reason I mention this here is because these are key aspects of our community that we value very highly. Creating the right environment for pupils to learn, grow and develop is the foundation of our work. Making sure that pupils are 'ready to learn' is another significant area. Support, nurture and care are intrinsic values we embed across all 'teams' throughout the working day. When these aspects come together alongside the care and support of the pupil’s family and the 'can do' attitude of the pupil we really are 'Achieving Together'!
I hope you all have a happy, safe and fun summer break and I look forward to seeing you next year either at an event, a visit to school or at one of the consultation events that will be taking place regarding the build and changes to some of our systems and processes.
on behalf of the Staff and Governors of Meadow High School
