Farewell to our pupil leavers

It has come to that time of year again when some of our pupils leave Meadow.

This year we have pupils going on to various Further Education Colleges, Project Search or other schools.

We would like to wish all our pupil leavers the very best for the future.   Here are a few quotes we would like to share with you:

''Thank you for teaching my son and looking after him so well in his time here.

He's off to college in September and I know he will miss you all.

I have great fondness and respect for your school and always highly recommend it to everyone.

I could not have sent my son to a better school.''

Thank you for having my son in the Sixth Form at Meadow High School.  It has been an amazing three years which he has thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from.    The staff go the extra mile, every mile, with pupils and I cannot thank you enough.

My son is off to college next year.   Meadow has really enabled him to do that by giving him confidence and belief in himself.

Thank you !

Parent of a Year 14 pupil

We have had another parent,  who's child is moving from Year 11 to Sixth Form at Meadow, and had this to say:

''I know as a whole you have all been amazing for my child during his school years at Meadow. He is not the same child who arrived at Meadow in 2012 and he is going into sixth form ready to learn how to prepare for the outside world! :-)

I have to let you know the care and support his form team have given me personally over the years has also a major contribution to why I'm calmer and less stressed about me worrying about my child. They have always listened to me, helped me and call whenever I need advice or if something has happened with my child out of school I feel they should know.

They has been a constant in my child's school life due to them teaching them consistently, I really believe this was a huge factor as they learned all of the children's quirks.
