Year 7 Went On A Trip To Windsor Castle Yesterday

On Thursday this week, Year 7 visited Windsor Castle as part of their 'Castles' study in history. The staff at the castle treated us to a learning workshop entitled 'All About Castles' where we were reminded about our learning of The Battle of Hastings and were taught some new information about castles and battlements. 

We visited the State Apartments, the Dolls' House and the Chapel and were lucky enough to see the resting place of our late queen, Queen Elizabeth II.  The weather held out for us and we came back extremely tired after a busy day of walking and learning.
