New Stories on Our Youtube Channel on 1 January 2026
Extended Learning: Engaging with a range of stories provides lots of learning opportunities. Please remember that we have our own youtube channel where you’ll find a wide of stories to enjoy. Listening to stories can help boost reading and language skills;
- spark your imagination and stimulate curiosity
- help your brain, social skills and communication skills develop
- help learn new words as you read. Subconsciously, you will absorb information on how to structure sentences and how to use words and other language features effectively
- help with develop understanding of how to read, modelling pacing, proper intonation (using voice for expression) and correct pronunciation whilst immersing children in stories
- help develop comprehension skills – a crucial part of reading
- help inspire a love of books and reading – a life-long learning tool
