Bronze HEART Award

On Monday 15th December, the Virtual School came to visit Meadow to accredit us with our Bronze Hillingdon Empathy Attachment, Relationships and Trauma Responsiveness (HEART) Award.
They were impressed with our warm and nurturing learning environment, especially our sensory spaces, our library and all the interventions offered to our young people.
In addition, a special mention to Jo, Josh and Sam, who represented the school amazingly and spoke so eloquently about their experiences at Meadow.
I am very proud to say we are the only school in the borough with this award and it really is a testament to how our staff work with and support our young people to help them regulate their behaviour and emotions, build key adult relationships and feel safe and secure at school.
Have a wonderful Christmas break and New Year.
