The school's Governing Body has a strategic role in the development of the school and is responsible for its policies and finances but does not become involved in day-to-day management issues; that is the role of the headteacher. Governors ensure key priorities are included in the school development plan (SDP) and then monitor progress towards completion.
Meadow governors are committed to providing a safe, challenging and stimulating environment to help pupils become confident young adults, maximising their abilities and developing their skills to allow them to be happy and contribute to society in their "Life Beyond Meadow”.
The aim of all of these activities is to promote school improvement and to raise standards and achievement.
All our governors are volunteers from the school's community who wish to make a positive contribution to our children's education.
