Remebrance Day - Poppy Appeal - Our Library is Ready

Dear Parent/Carer,

On Tuesday 11th November 2025 we will be observing Remembrance Day.

The Royal British Legion’s red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future

We will be observing a 2-minute silence at 11am in honour of Armistice Day.

We will be selling poppies in the month of November to fundraise for the Royal British Legion and will be learning about the meaning of Remembrance Day in Assemblies and PSHCE lessons leading up to the day.

If you would like your child to purchase a poppy, please send them in with a small amount of change, we recommend a 50p donation.

If you would like your child to opt out of the 2-minute silence, please complete the form below and return to the school reception.

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Mistry via the school office.

Kind Regards,
Mrs A Mistry
