"E-Safety"

You may be aware recently there is a growing concern in the UK regarding social media and young people targets with 'games' which should not be promoted.

E-safety is embedded in our school curriculum.  This includes Computing, PSHE, assemblies and awareness weeks.

If you have any concerns regarding a young person, please get in touch with the school.

We encourage, in upsetting situations regarding social media, the following:

  • Tell an Adult
  • Don't delete messages until shared with an adult
  • Don't respond

We run workshops throughout the year regarding E-safety and how to survival in a digital age.  We encourage parents to attend, even if there are no current concerns.

Thank you

Mr M Rainsbury—Assistant Headteacher

nothing and the school will get extra funds, which then means pupils will benefit from extra resources.  Flyers for two schemes are attached to the Bulletin.  The schemes are similar, but have different stores signed up.  If you would like to join up to help the school please go to their websites and follow the instructions:.

Comic Relief Activities

11th - 15th March 2019

Dear Parent/Carer,

At Meadow High School next week, students and staff will be taking part in fundraising activities to raise money for our chosen charity. If your child would like to take part they should bring in a small amount of money during the week. On Friday 15th March there will be a non-uniform day with optional Disney theme, students are welcome to wear their ordinary clothes if they’d prefer. There is no charge for this non-uniform day.

Each tutor group has been asked to run a fundraising activity so your child may bring a sponsorship form home, depending on their class’ activity.

Many thanks for your continued support.

GB Athlete Visit

Just before half term, our Year 9 pupils had the fantastic opportunity to work with GB Athlete
Luke Lennon-Ford.

The pupils were put through a very intense and demanding circuit.

Luke then delivered a very Interesting power point based on his career so far.

All year 9 pupils workedextremely hard and were very grateful for this amazing experience.
