Sport Relief Week - 19-23 March 2018

Sport Relief is a charity event from Comic Relief, in association with BBC Sport, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries.


How can Meadow High help?

  • By raising lots of money.

How can Meadow High raise lots of money?

  • During the week there will be lots of different activities and challenges. To enter each activity or challenge there will be a small donation (minimum 10p).

    The winner of each activity / challenge will win poijnts for their house.


Monday 19th March

Break Time challenge

6th form Hall – How many Press ups can you do in 1 minute? 

Lunch Time  challenge

Tennis courts –How many baskets can you score in 1 minute?


Tuesday 20th March

Break Time challenge

6th form Hall –How many sit ups can you do in 1 minute? 

Lunch Time  challenge

Tennis courts – Can you hit the cross bar?

 


Wednesday 21st March

Break Time challenge

6th form Hall – How long can you hold the plank?

Lunch Time  challenge

Tennis courts – How many kick ups can you do?

 


Thursday 22nd March

Break Time challenge

6th form Hall – Lactic acid test.

Tennis courts –Teachers v students Boocia match.


Friday 23rd March

All day challenge (Staff and Pupil’s)

Can Meadow High School keep two

Rowing machines going all day?

(including breaks, lunches and assemblies)

Friday 23rd - Non Uniform Day - Staff and pupils may wear their sports gear for a donation of £1.00

 


Sports Relief Golden Mile chart for one week only! In which pupils have until the end of Thursday to complete as many golden miles as possible.

Winner receives a Sport Relief t-shirt. 

 


There will also be Sports Relief wrist bands on sale in school for £1.00.
